Following a conciliation session last week between TVO Media Education Group and the Canadian Media Guild (CMG), CMG requested that the government issue a ‘No Board Report’. That No Board Report has now been issued, triggering a process that could put CMG in a strike position, if that is the course they choose, later this month.
CMG represents 74 TVO employees in the Programming & Content and Digital Learning divisions. TVO believes that the best route forward is to continue negotiations toward a fair agreement. We respect CMG’s right to initiate this process, and it is our hope that discussions will continue.
