TVO’s culture is grounded in the shared belief that all voices should be valued and all differences respected.
We are a forward-thinking learning organization that thrives in collaborating across disciplines and experiences.

“I have the privilege of building partnerships in Ontario and across the globe to support the learning goals for students that change lives and enrich communities. I believe that TVO ILC creates equity and access for all learners from all walks of life, and I am proud to be a part of this. Working with TVO’s cross-functional teams, and our local and global partners has allowed me to build my core competencies as a business development professional while enhancing my leadership skills.”

Culture & engagement
Learning is the cornerstone of everything we do—whether it's through peer-to-peer sharing, external workshops, or internally hosted learning. You’ll work with folks who are thrilled and driven by the digital learning and media landscapes.

“When I first started at TVO, I was impressed with the collaborative and teamwork mindset of everyone. I noticed this at every level of the organization. From the People & Culture team to the managers and my colleagues – everyone was welcoming and readily offered their support. I am extremely grateful that everyone is focused on creating a positive, inclusive culture where I feel empowered to reach my full potential.”

Internship &
co-op placements
TVO is proud to work with schools to offer student development opportunities—providing exposure to our business and our educational programs. Each placement introduces students to real-world skills and competencies required for young professionals.

TVO x TDSB Centre of Excellence for Black Student Achievement
TVO is excited to collaborate with the Centre of Excellence for Black Student Achievement at the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) for the Black Student Summer Leadership Program (BSSLP). This program provides self-identified African, Afro-Caribbean and/or Black students with experiential learning opportunities.
“My internship at TVO has given me many opportunities to develop my Project Management skills. Through unceasing support from my experienced colleagues, I have learned new ways of dealing with critical situations and challenges. Also, I could apply the tools and techniques that I learned at college in exciting real-time projects, including a significant digital transformation project. Apart from this, I’m glad to be contributing to TVO’s aim for altruistic engagement with Ontarians.”
