TVO Presents a Special 4K Screening of Great Lakes Doc ‘All Too Clear’

Post-Screening Q&A with filmmakers Zach Melnick and Yvonne Drebert on March 4

Toronto, Ontario, February 25, 2025 – TVO Docs presents a free screening of All Too Clear, Beneath The Surface of the Great Lakes, a documentary that explores the impact of invasive species in the Great Lakes on March 4 at the Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema in Toronto.

The TVO Original documentary by husband-and-wife filmmaking team Zach Melnick and Yvonne Drebert, uses state-of-the-art underwater drones to explore the massive impact of quagga mussels—tiny invasive creatures that are transforming the ecosystem of the Great Lakes. To capture this epic environmental shift, they spent over 150 days filming underwater, making All Too Clear the most ambitious underwater film ever made about the Great Lakes.

After the screening, Zach and Yvonne will join a Q&A session with guests, sharing insights into their groundbreaking underwater film journey, and the impact of this film on deepening our understanding of our fragile ecosystems. Attendees will also get a chance to see the high-tech cameras used to capture the stunning underwater footage.
