“We are excited to bring Woolly Woolly to families through TVOKids,” said producer François Trudel from Quebec-based production company PVP MEDIA. “This series is a joyful exploration of creativity and friendship, encouraging children to use their imagination in a fun and meaningful way.”

The series follows the playful adventures of tightly knit gnomes—Willy, Josie, Beebee, Choochoo, and Pirouette—who live in a whimsical forest entirely made of wool. Together, they loop through their cozy yet unpredictable world, stitching up adventures and solving serious mysteries like unraveling incidents in Woollywood to harvesting sparkling wool from a very unique sheep, the Woollys face each challenge with courage, creativity, and their knack for knitting whatever they need.

These delightful tales are brought to life by Lila and Marco, two imaginative kids in their playroom who spin everyday emotions and situations into playful adventures for their toy woolly gnomes.

“At its heart, Woolly Woolly celebrates imaginative play, an essential developmental tool that nurtures creativity, problem-solving, and social skills in young children,” said Kirsten Hurd, TVOkids Commissioning Editor. “We’re thrilled to bring a show that not only entertains but also supports educational growth, aligning with the Ontario curriculum and fostering a love for learning through fun and adventure.”
