The unique value of TVO’s TeachOntario, an award-winning online community for teachers, was highlighted by the Oakville Beaver following a successful launch event.
TVO was joined at the launch at an Oakville elementary school by The Honourable Liz Sandals, Ontario Minister of Education; Francine LeBlanc-Lebel, President of the Ontario Teachers’ Federation; Indira Naidoo-Harris, MPP for Halton; and members of the education community. Quoting Minister Sandals, the Oakville Beaver said that TVO’s recent IPAC/Deloitte Public Leadership Award win for Teach Ontario “speaks volumes about the collaborative work done by education partners to explore how technology can improve teacher and student learning and ensure ‘we keep innovating as an education system in Ontario.’”
