Lisa Cole

Vice President, Education

Lisa Cole is a strategic education leader with more than 25 years of experience advancing inclusive learning across Ontario's public education, government, postsecondary, and non-profit sectors. She brings deep expertise in curriculum design, digital learning, system partnership, and equity-driven educational innovation. Lisa joins TVO from York University's Lassonde School of Engineering, where she launched and led the k2i academy. She previously served as an Education Officer with Ontario's Ministry of Education and held progressive leadership roles with the Durham District School Board. 


At TVO, Lisa serves as Vice President, Education, providing system-level leadership for TVO’s educational mandate and stewarding the strategy, performance, and evolution of its curriculum-based learning products and services, including TVO ILC, TVO Learn, Mathify, and teacher and classroom supports. Lisa guides the vision, direction, and accountability for TVO’s education portfolio, ensuring alignment with Ministry priorities, and leads cross-organizational initiatives that translate educational policy and system needs into high-quality, accessible digital learning experiences for Ontarians. 


Lisa holds a Master of Education from York University, is a member of the Ontario College of Teachers, and sits on the boards of Ampere and Canada Learning Code.
