Toronto, Ontario, February 13, 2023 – TVO Media Education Group (TVO) is proud to announce the TVOkids Smart TV app was named ‘Best Kids-Only Streaming Service’ at the 2024 Kidscreen Summit in San Diego, California last week.

The Kidscreen Awards celebrate excellence in children’s content created for broadcast television and digital platforms. The 2024 awards received more than 550 entries across 50-plus categories that span programming, broadcasting and digital media. Winners were announced at a special awards ceremony on February 5, 2024.
Available free of charge on Apple TV, Roku and elsewhere, the TVOkids OTT streaming app features convenient access to the latest series and specials Canadians enjoy watching on TVO’s broadcast channel, TVOkids.com and the TVOkids YouTube channels (preschool, school-age).
