The Theft *Documentary* (90 min) Premieres Sunday, April 19. Through the lens of Afghanistan’s overlooked artistic heritage, The Theft exposes the beauty and brutality of the global art world. Tracing the journey of a set of 12th century marble panels, looted throughout the decades from their place of origin in Ghazni, Afghanistan, the film challenges museums and audiences alike to confront how conflict, looted artifacts and cultural memory collide behind gallery walls. Saigon Story: Two Shootings in the Forest Kingdom *Documentary* (90 min) Premieres Sunday, May 31. Eddie Adams’ photograph Saigon Execution forever changed the world’s perception of the Vietnam War. Oscar®-nominated Vietnamese Canadian filmmaker Kim Nguyen shines a light on the long and sometimes surprising road to healing, uncovering the hidden truths of war, family and photography itself – while exposing the resilience of survivors and the blurred legacy of wartime memory.
