Toronto, Ontario, July 16, 2024 – The CN tower, which provides over-the-air (OTA) TV service for TVO Media Education Group (TVO), has been affected by a neighbourhood power outage due to current weather issues. Due to this outage, TVO OTA customers in the Toronto area will experience a service outage until power is restored.
Customers should note that this is an issue with the tower that services TVO and no adjustments to your receiving antennas or equipment are required. Those customers watching TVO on cable TV or satellite services, or accessing TVO online, will not be impacted.
We apologize for any inconvenience this outage may cause. TVO programming can always be viewed on our websites – TVO.org and TVOkids.com, or on our YouTube channels.
