TVO over-the-air TV service disruption in Ottawa

Toronto, Ontario, October 15, 2024 —Starting today until the end of November, the CBC tower in Camp Fortune Ottawa, where TVO is a tenant, will be undergoing maintenance.

During this time, TVO customers who use over-the-air (OTA) TV service in the Ottawa area may experience intermittent disruptions in their service. These disruptions are the result of the TVO antennae being powered down or experiencing power reductions to ensure the safety of the technicians conducting the tower maintenance.

Customers should note that this is an issue with the tower that services TVO and no adjustments to your receiving antennas or equipment are required. Those customers watching TVO on cable TV or satellite services, or accessing TVO online, will not be impacted.

We apologize for any inconvenience this disruption may cause.  TVO programming can always be viewed on our websites – TVO.org and TVOkids.com, or on our YouTube channels.

If you have further questions, please reach out to asktvo@tvo.org or by calling us at 1.800.436.6886.
