Toronto, Ontario, March 23, 2026 —Starting today until May 15, 2026, TVO customers who use over-the-air (OTA) TV service in the broader GTA may experience reduced signal or intermittent service, particularly during daytime hours. This is due to work on the CN Tower to replace a transmission line causing a reduction to power. During this time, there is also the potential for a brief overnight full shutdown.
Customers should note that this is an issue related to CN Tower transmission work and no adjustments to your receiving antennas or equipment are required. Customers watching TVO through cable TV or satellite services, or accessing TVO online, will not be impacted.
