Toronto, Ontario, March 25, 2024 — Customers who use TVO’s over-the-air (OTA) TV services in the Thunder Bay area may be experiencing a disruption in service from Monday March 25 to Thursday March 28, 2024. This outage is due to a technology changeover on our TVO transmitters.

Customers should note that this is an issue with the TVO transmitter equipment and no adjustments to your receiving antennas or equipment are required. Those customers watching TVO on cable TV, satellite services, or accessing TVO online, will not be impacted.

TVO Media Education Group is aware of this disruption and our transmission team is working diligently to resolve it as quickly as possible and ensure the consistency of the OTA TV services that you enjoy.

TVO programming can always be viewed on our websites – TVO.org and TVOkids.com, or on our YouTube channels.
