Strategic leader joins board of TVO Media Education Group

TVO Media Education Group welcomes its newest board appointment, Aaron Campbell.

Aaron Campbell is the Chief of Staff & VP, Corporate Affairs, Strategy and Sustainability with the LCBO. Previously, he held senior leadership positions with the Toronto International Film Festival. Aaron has also worked in senior roles within the federal government, including the Office of the Prime Minister of Canada and with the Minister of Canadian Heritage.

Aaron serves as board chair for Ontario Creates, an organization that facilitates economic investment, and development in our province’s creative industries, including the music, book, magazine, film, television, and interactive digital media sectors. He also serves on the COTA board of directors, an accredited, not-for-profit, community-based organization that supports adults with mental health and cognitive challenges.

In accordance with the Ontario Educational Communications Authority Act, TVO’s board of directors is appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council to provide strategic oversight for the organization while ensuring value for all Ontarians. The Ontario Government has appointed Aaron Campbell for a two-year term that runs to February 26, 2025.
