Steve Paikin receives honours from Centennial and Mohawk Colleges

Steve Paikin, anchor of TVO’s current affairs program The Agenda with Steve Paikin, was recognized for his contribution to education and journalism by two Ontario colleges recently.

On June 15, the Board of Governors of Centennial College awarded Steve the honourary title of Fellow of Centennial College in recognition of his achievements as an author, journalist, documentary producer and anchor, and his outstanding contributions to public broadcasting in Ontario.

On June 20, Mohawk College, in Steve’s hometown of Hamilton, awarded Steve with a Distinguished Fellow – Honourary Diploma at the Media and Entertainment Convocation ceremony. Steve was recognized for setting the gold standard for informed analysis, conversation and debate and for his support of postsecondary education, including his biography of Bill Davis, the “father” of Ontario’s college system.
