Journalism

With quality current affairs journalism at its core, TVO Today [link] explores important issues and solutions from a range of diverse perspectives. We offer groundbreaking original documentaries, award-winning podcasts, informed opinions and analysis, and cutting-edge videos series as well TVO’s flagship current affairs program The Agenda with Steve Paikin. Education

TVO’s educational resources help learners of all ages build important skills and knowledge to help them succeed in school and life. TVO Learn [link] and TVO ILC [link] offer course material for all grades and subjects, free 1:1 online math tutoring, and more than 140 online courses for earning an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or discovering new career pathways. Children’s Media

TVOkids prepares children for school and life with fun and accessible content that aligns with the Ontario curriculum. TVOkids Original series like 16 Hudson, All-Round Champion and Curious Crafting support healthy childhood development, while online games such as Keyboard Climber and Seven Teachings Wheel introduce valuable skills and knowledge. TVO mPower Summer Challenge

Made possible through a private corporate partnership

Launched in summer 2021, the TVO mPower Summer Challenge engaged thousands of school-aged children in Ontario with a curriculum-aligned game challenge to build STEM skills and strengthen learning during the pandemic.
